Gorgeous Ways to Display Kokedamas

In love with kokedamas? I am sure of it! If you haven’t seen these planters yet, they are a type of Japanese gardening – similar to bonsai. Kokedamas are plants whose roots are embedded in soil and wrapped in moss. They are therefore self-contained and do not require a flower pot or a pot.

You can style them in many different ways, from table decorations to hanging planters and more. Because moss does best in low light, kokedamas are great for indoor storage and are great for plants that like to stay moist and don’t need too much sun—think ferns and bonsai. However, they are not as suitable for bright light plants such as herbs and flowers.

If you want to start making, try this tutorial or the video below. They are easy!
